Goods from e.g. Norway, the UK, Switzerland, Türkiye or Asia must be cleared before delivery in Denmark. We file the declaration and make sure everything is clarified first.

Duty relief with proof of origin
With e.g. an A.TR from Türkiye or an EUR.1/statement on origin under EU trade agreements, duty can often be zero. We always ask about origin.
Duty and VAT at cost
Duties, VAT and charges to the authorities are invoiced at cost. If the importer has a deferment account, it is used.
Every special condition cleared
Excise, food and plant controls, CE, chemicals, anti-dumping duty and sanctions are clarified before filing.
At the border or at a warehouse
Clearance at Danish, Norwegian and Swedish borders – or transit (T1) for clearance elsewhere.

The documents for fast clearance
If something is missing, we tell you straight away – before it costs time at the border.
- Commercial invoice with consignor, consignee, place of delivery, goods, value and Incoterm
- The consignee's VAT and EORI numbers (must appear on the invoice)
- Packing list with packages and weight
- Waybill: CMR, B/L or AWB
- Proof of origin if duty relief is claimed – e.g. EUR.1, A.TR or a statement on origin (REX)
- Power of attorney from the consignee or exporter
- Licences, certificates or permits if the goods require them

What we are often asked
What do I need for an import clearance?
Commercial invoice, packing list, waybill, the consignee's VAT and EORI numbers, power of attorney and, where relevant, proof of origin and licences.
Can the duty be zero?
Yes, if the goods have preferential origin and the correct proof of origin is provided – e.g. an A.TR for industrial goods from Türkiye. VAT must still be paid.
What is a power of attorney and why do you need it?
It allows us and our customs partner to declare the goods on behalf of the consignee (direct representation). Without it, the declaration cannot be filed.
