NSAB 2015

What is NSAB 2015?

NSAB are the general conditions of the Nordic freight forwarders. They typically govern the relationship between forwarder and customer unless something else has been agreed in writing.

Also called: Nordic forwarding conditions

NSAB stands for the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders. The current version dates from 2015 and is widely used by forwarders in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The conditions cover, among other things, the forwarder's duties, when the forwarder is liable as a carrier, limitations of liability, and deadlines for claims and payment.

Always agree which conditions apply – and whether there are special terms on top of NSAB, for example on insurance or higher liability.
